  • The first appointment at our Thunder Bay mental health facility involves thorough assessments of your current situation and background. Our experts offer you a comfortable, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can openly discuss your issues. You can expect us to recognize your therapy needs and develop an appropriate plan involving the type and duration of treatment. We encourage you to ask questions in our Thunder Bay clinic. By the end of the first meeting, our professional mental health practitioners try to gain your trust and develop a bond with you for your upcoming counselling sessions.

  • As mental health professionals, we are dedicated to relieving you from mental illness as quickly as possible. However, the treatment's effectiveness can vary, and it is difficult to predict the exact number of therapy sessions you might need before feeling better. Factors like your relationship with the therapist, your engagement in the process of healing and your social environment and personal life will have significant bearings on the duration of your treatment.

Once the initial assessment is done, our mental health therapists might be able to provide you with an estimate of how long therapy might take in your case.

  • No, we do not.
